Photocell Controlled Lighting Wiring Diagram
24+ Photocell Controlled Lighting Wiring Diagram Images. I am trying to wire a photo cell to an outside light that is controlled by a light switch.the line black is wired to the light switch and the line white. Photocells are controlled by light, timers are controlled by time.
I have 3 wires white, red and black on the sensor, but there is only 2 color wires on the light, black and white and also a metal wire (ground).
Make the most of your energy. Photocells are sensors that allow you to detect light. The way this works is that as the resistance of the photocell decreases, the total resistance of the photocell and the pulldown resistor decreases from over 600kω to 10kω. The schematic is nice and simple to visualise the principal of how a two way switch works but is little help when it coms to actually wiring this up in real.
